One year of permanent, contingent permanent, or 55 B/C service allocated to a Grade 14 or higher eligible for transfer and determined to be administrative by Civil Service.

55 B/C QUALIFICATIONS
Individuals certified eligible for the 55 B/C program under the Governor’s Program to Hire Persons/Veterans with Disabilities pursuant to Section 55 B/C of the Civil Service Law will also be considered. Please provide a copy of your letter of eligibility with your response.
You must meet the open competitive qualifications from the most recent examination announcement. The open competitive minimum qualifications are: A Bachelor’s Degree*
Your degree must have been awarded by a regionally accredited college or university or one recognized by the New York State Education Department as following acceptable educational practices. If your degree was awarded by an educational institution outside the United States or its territories, you must provide independent verification of equivalency. Duties Description
The Contract Management Specialist 1/Trainee 1/2 duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Review, track, and process contract related transactions, including new, renewal and amendment transactions
Receive, review and process contract related vouchers for programs.
Receive and conduct level 1 review of vouchers for programs using a centralized voucher process
Communicate with program staff regarding the need for documentation and clarifications required to approve vouchers
Process miscellaneous service contracts and associated payments
Report transaction statistics monthly
Communicate with CAU Unit Manager regarding transaction and funding issues
Work with appropriate Fiscal staff to identify and request funding for contracts
Work with control agency staff to address issues
Process all transactions in SFS
