“Permanent Transfer Candidates: Current New York State employee with one year of permanent or contingent-permanent service as an Administrative Aide (G-13), Agency Program Aide (G-13) or Program Aide (G-13); or one year of permanent or contingent-permanent service in a title allocated to G-11 or above eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Provisional Promotion Candidates: Current New York State employee with one year of permanent or contingent-permanent competitive service or 55b/c service in a Grade 5 or higher clerical, secretarial, keyboarding or paraprofessional** title set in an office environment.

**Only paraprofessional titles in an office environment will be considered qualifying. Service in a direct care title is not qualifying experience. Examples of non-qualifying titles are: Developmental Disabilities Secure Care Treatment Aide 1; Direct Support Assistant; Food Service Worker 1; Licensed Practical Nurse; Mental Health Therapy Aide; and Security Services Assistant.”

Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of State and Federal regulations is preferred. Experience with ASPEN database is preferred.

 

 
Duties Description
Supporting the Federal Survey and CON Managers, the Agency Program Aide assist in tracking of surveys, efiling reports, releasing SODs as directed, preparing complainant and facility letters, preparing Closure Plan packets and HFIS forms and manage other projects as assigned. Works with the RPD and DRPD for personnel tasks related to staff hires, tracking performance reviews and probation reports, tracking new staff orientation, preparing postings.
